Hey! My name is Gideon, I'm based in Oakland California and I am OBSESSED with drums.
With over 20 years of experience playing, touring, and recording drums worldwide, I’m excited to bring that expertise to your project, whether in the studio or on stage.
While my roots are in punk and hardcore, my versatility extends across rock, folk, alternative, indie, pop, and beyond.
Credits include: Useless ID, Tess & The Details, The Bombpops, Like Roses, Kill The Drive, War Bison, and many more.
I’ve also had the privilege of working with renowned producers such as Bill Stevenson (The Blasting Room), John Naclerio (Nada Recording Studios), Jacob Light (ModernTone Studios), Ben Hirschfield (NuTone Studios), and Scott Goodrich (SharkBite).
Remote Recording: From my studio in Oakland, CA, I can provide professional remote drum tracking sessions, delivering a wide range of sounds with my collection of drums, cymbals, and high-end recording gear.
Drum Rentals: Over the years, I’ve built up a collection of high-end drum kits, professional snares, hardware, and cymbals, all available for rental for studio recording sessions and live performances. Kits also available heavy-duty hardware and accessories, with a wide selection of high-end cymbals and available to customize your setup and get the sound you’re looking for.

Send me your music, I’ll track the drums in my Oakland studio and deliver multi track individually recorded, and ready-to-use stems that you can drop straight into your DAW and start mixing.

Playing live / touring
The studio is fun, but the stage is where I truly feel at home. With hundreds of touring days under my belt, I’m still excited to hit the road and perform with new artists and bands. I learn music quickly, adapt easily, and feel comfortable stepping into just about any live environment.
For over two decades, I’ve toured regionally and internationally across the US, Europe, Russia, Japan, China, and Australia. I’ve played everywhere from DIY venues and basements to stadiums and arenas, adapting to different stages, productions, and live setups along the way.
Whether it’s joining a production for weeks of rehearsals and preparation or stepping in on a day’s notice to cover a show, I’m ready to jump in, learn the material, and deliver.
